What this site is

HorsesalesIreland.com is a noticeboard where people in Ireland advertise horses and ponies for sale and buyers contact them directly. We are not a party to any sale. We do not take payments, hold deposits, inspect horses or guarantee anything about them.

Buying

Always see the horse in person, ask for its passport and have it vetted before paying. Agree the price and terms directly with the seller. Any dispute about a horse is between you and the seller.

Selling

You must own the horse or have the owner's permission to sell it. Describe it honestly, including any vices, injuries or health problems you know of. Use your own photos and videos. Mark a horse as sold once it is gone. Only one account per seller, and you are responsible for anything posted from it.

Not allowed

Misleading descriptions, stolen photos, advertising anything other than horses and ponies, harvesting other users' contact details, or anything unlawful. We can hide or remove listings and suspend accounts at our discretion, and we don't have to give a reason.

Fees

Listing is currently free. If that changes we will say so clearly before you list.

Liability

The site is provided as it is, without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from a listing, a sale, or your use of the site.
